  3. Hi Myriam,
I have to admit that I never knew about the true nature of Frankenstein and being able to perceive him as a human being and understand where Mary Shelly got all those ideas from and how she wrote this creepy story is really formatting. The time where the book was written also have to be well explained like you did to understand the importance of Frankenstein in novel history.

Fascinating was the right title choice!

  5. Interesting facts! I did not know that August 30th was the official Frankenstein’s day. I will trick my little monsters (read kids) on this day. Do you have an idea how I could surprise my kids this year? Costume? Theme dinner?

    Cheers!

  6. Nice detailed list of facts, however I have noticed a few errors here and there. Indeed, the first film adaptation of Frankenstein was released in 1910, but it was not made by Thomas Edison, it was created by Edison Studios and directed by J. Searle Dawley. Thomas Edison was the entrepreneur behind this film company, but he did not partake in the creation of this film.

Other than that simple mistake, your list of facts does provide a good amount of information to readers who would like to know a bit more background information concerning this classic novel.

  7. Nice facts in this post! It actually provides a different perspective of the story even after we have read it. I am pretty sure that if I go back and read the novel again I will not understand/see it the same way I did.
Thanks for letting us know of those facts as I now know more of the novel that I am working on for over a month.

    See you later!
